Fundraising needn’t be daunting and can be a lot of fun and a way to get people together.
If you’re organising a fundraiser, begin by familiarising yourself with our fundraising policies. Click HERE to read a letter from our Chair, Angela Terry, with the details. Once you're all set, use the button below to create your JustGiving fundraising page and start raising money for EGFR+ UK.
Here are some suggestions of ways to fundraise.
Do something sporty, make and sell cupcakes, have a street party, hold a pet show, make jam, have a second-hand sale, abseil, do a 5K or a half marathon, get knitting, give up chocolate, shave your head or have a sponsored silence or screen time challenge.
This is how members have fundraised for us recently:
Nicole and Sean Geraghty completed the David Goggin’s challenge and ran 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. They raised over £4500 for EGFR Positive UK. Read more here.
Jane ran a 5K in memory of her husband Mike and two friends from the group, Kathy and Stephanie. She raised over £1300.
James chose to ride’ The Tour du Mont Blanc' - 330km and 8500m of climbing in a one-day ride literally around Mont Blanc. Read more here.
Izzie ran 100 miles in January to raise money for our Early Diagnosis Campaign using Facebook to promote it to friends and family. She raised over £2,000.
Fundraising for EGFR Positive UK couldn’t be more easy!
